Loxone have taken the wraps off their new ‘Multi extension Air’ module. developed particularly with retrofit jobs in mind, it can be installed virtually anywhere, interacting wirelessly with the Loxone Miniserver as well as Air Base extension.
The new module includes integrated PWM outputs for manage of LED illumination (RGBW dimmer) or for controlling pumps with PWM inputs. Its 1-Wire interface allows connection of as much as 20 temperature sensors or limitless iButtons for gain access to control.
In addition 8 digital outputs can be utilized to switch anything from sockets, lights, pumps, blinds, sprinklers etc. Loxone have utilized bi-stable relays in the module which makes them energy effective as they only utilize power when being switched. On the input side there are 12 digital ins to link to your switches, window contacts, movement sensors etc.
Loxone believe they have a strong all rounder in the Multi extension Air as well as that it will be perfect for many retrofitting applications. offered now for around £400.
